Hopelessly crawling towards forbidden light
Searching for something out of line of sight
Everybodies staring at something they can't see
Everybodies staring, everyone but me
Moving even faster, not realizing the truth
Almost boldy charging, as if looking for their youth
They are all in line now, waiting without threat
But I can see the sign now, that surely they'll regret
Now the beast has marked them, and made them all his slaves
Matbe if they're lucky he'll grant them early graves
Sinister and evil, they've all been marked for death
I wish that I were with them, because now there's no one left
The beast is growing hungry, soon he'll make the kill
Maybe It's all a dream, caused by that jagged little pill
But the beast seems so real to me, I don't know what to do
As he holds up his picture, you'll fall in love with you
Self-obsession is the key to immortal life
But when you see your eternal home, you'll surely want to die
The beast is taking favors to those who don't want to go
But once the favors granted, you'll know you've sold your soul
