How to set fish

Well for starters your going to need nets, running lines, snaps, and a dead man. Before you get to fish you have to go kind of screw the dead man into the mud and doing so will be hard because of all the rocks in the ground. For doing that you will need an ice pick for leverage and a shovel. Once you have gotten that done you will need to run your running line out there and tie it with a fisher mans knot. Then get your buoys and tie them to the running line. Also you have to wait until it’s a negative low tide.
Next you will need to go get a permit for crewmember, and a permit for a site. The way you do that you go to the South Naknek library, or go to the fish and Wildlife place. Also, your crewmembers are going to need a permit. Troopers will come and see if you and your crewmembers have permits and if all of you don’t have one all of your crew will get a fine. Then you and your crew won’t get paid.
Lights, buoys, and snaps go on the running line. The lights goes on the buoys for the night time, so you can see where your buoys are, and so you don’t run over your running line and your net. The snaps go on the running line while you are putting your net on the running line. The way you have to tie your net on your running line, take the end of your net and tie it with a knot. I forget what the knot is called.
For low tides you will need waders, a wheeler, and a wagon. The reason you need them because you just don’t pick during the high tides. Some days the mudd will be really deep and some spots are knee deep. A tarp can help bring them to shore. An easier way to pick fish and not get to muddy is picking while the tide is going out. Then after you get done picking and putting them in the wagon you have to drive to the skiff and put the fish in the brailers. Then go deliver to the tenders. After you deliver them, start the same thing over again.
